As you guys know, with technology, the same pretty much in digital marketing industry, there's gonna be, there's always going to be churn, there's always going to be something new and a bunch of different strategies that you guys need to look out for that you need to pay attention to. And I'm not going to hold you guys, for a long episode at all, I almost rarely do that. But in this episode I'm going to talk about primarily, we'll talk about probably about seven different trends that I'm noticing in digital marketing where you guys could, you know, you can take advantage of using these different trends and strategies.

First one, one thing that I'm noticing direct messaging, and you probably say direct messaging. Yeah, that's, and I'm not just talking about slamming into someone's DMS. But you know, you can use direct messages, direct messaging, there's things called chat bots. So, chat bots, you see those automated messaging messages, you notice them like on Facebook, and iG also, I think there's things on LinkedIn also, you can chatbot feature I'm not on LinkedIn, but I believe there's a company that or you can actually use LinkedIn, you can use their direct messaging, and use chat bots. But chat bots is just just automated messages that you see in direct messaging.

Also, another thing that I'm noticing also is optimized featured snippets in the Google search, you've all seen where you've searched something in Google, maybe you asked a question, how to wash my clothes, how to wash my hands, you know, things like that. And you may see our result, you know, the regular 10 results that you'll see on a Google page. But above that, you might see like an image and then you know, a bold, the title was bold, and this kind of breaking down, you know what you x x x? Right there. So that's, that's a feature snippet. So what's cool if you can get your content in the Featured Snippet section and get it on that first page, and you can occupy two spaces, you will get more visibility on your product services. So keep that in mind also.

Alright, the next, the next three or four, I guess both of these, I'm just going to call them three and four is augmented reality and virtual reality. And I'm sure a lot of you all have seen that and that's kind of why you've heard a lot about the metaverse, and the metaverse is not just a Facebook thing.

A lot of these companies are going to use a mannequin, you know metaverse. Metaverse have their own meta versus. So augmented reality are known as AR is an enhanced version of the real physical world that is achieved through the use of digital visual elements, sound or other sensory stimuli delivered via technology. It is a growing trend among companies involved in mobile computing and business applications in particular. So you'll see the, you'll see more and more of that I believe Facebook actually purchased a company maybe about five or six years ago.

So you know, just as any tech company, you know, they, they're always staying ahead of the game. And virtual reality, known as VR is a simulated experience that can be similar to are completely different from the real world. This is from Wikipedia. Applications of virtual reality include entertainment, particularly video games, education, such as medical or military training, and business such as virtual meetings. Other distinct types of VR style technology include augmented reality, mixed reality, sometimes referred to as extended, tongue at tat there extended reality AR x r.

So these things are on the rise. And as you know, with the metaverse, we're going to be living in these alternative have the opportunity to live in these alternative worlds. And that's why you see things such as non fungible tokens are NF T's, you see those on the rise, you see those on the rise, also, if you've been paying any attention, you see these celebrities purchasing all these different NF T's. And, you know, people are like way I wouldn't spend x amount of dollars on that.

I know, they said same thing about the internet, they said the same thing about social media, you know, people always say what they're not going to do, they're not going to participate in a it's, it's your choice, some of us won't, but a lot of us won't have a choice. So I'm gonna say same with things such as an unknown going on a tangent right now, with things such as cryptocurrency, you know, with, you know, the entire blockchain technology, which NF T's are part of the theory on blockchain. So, you know, people, they always say that they're not going to participate. Technology waits on no one. So remember that.

Another thing that I'm noticing, also what I consider one of the top digital marketing trends, strategies, is voice search. Go to any search engine, especially Google. And you'll see I'm actually typing in going to Google right now. And the Google keyword. No, you guys can't see me. I know this is a podcast. But you'll see in the search tool on Google, you'll see the little voice thing right there voice search. So it's not just Google, just start noticing that on different different platforms. You know, you can see where it has the little voice search icon, right there. And that's something that's growing also, and it's not just on Google.

Another thing, the six, top digital marketing trends and trend strategy is podcasting. The growth of podcasting, podcasting, I think there is about I forget how many podcasts they say it's about think is right under 1 million. And that's not a big number, apparently. And it's growing audio, just audio is growing period, whether you're listening to podcasts, whether you're on Audible, whether you are on you know, all these different apps like clubhouse, he's audio apps, Twitter spaces, and so on, and so forth. So, hot audio is growing, period. But podcasting, there's so much growth, that is going to happen in the podcast industry also. So it's still early. So if you want to start podcast a hop in and start your podcast for your platform.

Our last thing here is going to be a last time digital marketing trend strategy that I see for 2020 is the growth of AI, artificial intelligence. And that's going to be you'll see more and more net more and more of that in content. You'll see more and more that in terms of machine learning and things of that nature. So you will be able to do things such as, and you can do things such as write blogs, using artificial intelligence, or using companies that use artificial intelligence to actually write for you.

So that's the thing also and you know, companies such as, you know, IBM, their Watson and then you know, Amazon's AWS A lot of different companies are big in AI and a lot of the chip companies and nit Naveen Naveen nivia, nib Novita, I can't pronounce the name as a publicly traded company NVDA is the ticker. Of course Google, Facebook with the, you know, the meta, or they call it meta platforms now, we're not gonna stop telling us to stop calling it Facebook, things such as companies such as DocuSign, as a company that, you know, you can, that you use, you know, cosine documents, and so many other companies, but those are the big players in machine learning and AI, artificial intelligence.

So, and these things are just, you know, a lot of these areas are growing. So they're, they're not areas where they, you know, reach their full potential or anything close to that.
