There could be a ton of reasons why your marketing strategy isn't working, your online marketing strategy isn't working. I've written down five of them. And he's five, these are things that I'm seeing a lot these things that I'm repeatedly seeing, these are things that I've personally been through all that stuff. The first thing I'm going to talk about is the first reason why your online marketing strategy isn't working is because you're not consistent producing content. Yes, you are not consistent produce producing content. A lot of times when we do these things, whether we're talking in a microphone, like me, or whether we're shooting a YouTube video, or if we are writing a blog, or what have you. Oftentimes, we will get dissed, discouraged, and we will quit or we will slow down or maybe some in between like life happens. When life happens, you already know, it slows up everything. And this content creation thing becomes a thing of the past or something that we put on the back burner. A lot of times we don't come back to it, you have to be consistent. When producing content. Sometimes it's not easy doing so it has to be a part of your plan, you have to either write these things out or know exactly what you want.

But the biggest thing is you have to find a way to stick with it. It's hard. I know it is I've been there. But you have to stick with it, have to stick with it. And maybe you should have more more of a realistic, more realistic plan and realistic goals. In order to stay consistent. Whatever moves you into becoming consistent, we're all different. And so many different things move us or so many different things motivate us to do things. So, but consistency is so it's a real deal. It's a real deal, not just in content creation, but it's a real deal. In life, it's real deal in life. And if you're not staying consistent, let's say if you are a vegan, or if you are someone that doesn't eat red meat, you want to be consistent doing that, that's something you set out to do. And that's just part of you. You have to be consistent in doing that. You have to have a realistic goal in mind in order to achieve that. And that's that's no different than consistent. Content, producing consistent content is really about one thing and one thing only and that's habits have to develop habits.

Whether they're I don't know, I don't know how you can I guess there's no real one it's really a want to have to want to you have to want to do it. And that's really all I can say in regard to it. But habits are huge habits as being habits are a big thing in my life for sure whether it's working out whether it's eating, you know, I take my health series more serious than I've ever taken it in my life. And I have to develop or had to develop these habits. Habits of getting up in the morning. Habits of hey, maybe if it's raining, maybe should I run in it anyway, sometimes I do it Just to make sure that habits stand out, or if it's raining too hard, can I wait at a certain point in that day to get my run in? Or can I wait and do it tomorrow, even though that's my recover day, and I have to maybe run two days in a row. It's all about habits, habits, habits, habits, so you can stay consistent producing content by developing healthy habits, develop healthy habits, how to do that depends, it depends on you, as on what kind of content you're creating.

The second thing that is a real reason your online marketing strategy isn't working, is because you're only sharing your content and you're not building the places where you're sharing it. That's usually a social media thing, always encourage you to start with one or two platforms, depending on you, depending on your time, how you use your time, start, one or two platforms become great at those one or two platforms. That way, when you not only when you do share your content, you people, other people will read it, and they'll share it, or what have you. But you have to build those platforms and a good way to build those platforms, even when people are leaving comments, you have to engage with them. So you have to talk back to him, you have to talk back to him in a way to where you're creating a bigger conversation. And the best way to do that is to ask questions back. Because the more comments you have, the more engagement you have, the more and more that social media platform will push out that particular post or just push out your profile or what have you. You have to engage, engage, engage, engage. So that's a very, very important thing.

And that goes along with the third one, that's basically the third one not utilizing ways of communication. And that's a way you can utilize and open up communication on social on your social media is by engaging in the comments. So don't just share stuff. And not only that, you have to know how to communicate with your audience, on social media. The other thing in terms of ways to communicate, and that is just social media, I'm going to take you down a road of three different things. Do you have a blog? Because you do know people read? Are you making videos? Because we are visual learners? How about audio? Do you have a podcast? Or do you have an audio app? Are you using the audio app, like clubhouse, or even Twitter spaces, understand how these different ways of communication how people are communicating?

Remember, we read, we're visual learners, and we're audio audio learners also, those things are very important when creating content. If your current strategy isn't working, maybe one or two of those things, maybe the third one, maybe you're just doing social media. So maybe you need to write a blog, maybe you need to do videos, maybe you need a podcast, you have to understand the ways that people communicate the way we learn about different things. The fourth thing that I had here is you have to have a real plan and executed. A lot of times people don't even have a plan. They don't even write things down. They just start winging it. People wake up hey, I want to start a YouTube channel and they just start posting videos. And then they wonder why manner my video only have two, it only has two views. Well, because there's a lot that goes into creating YouTube videos. A lot of people don't quite understand it. They think that you can just make a and I'm just speaking of in the long form part of YouTube.

There's a lot of things that you need to understand now. If you're making short form videos, you can have more success, especially now anyway, a lot more success to ensure for videos posted Do you have to know and understand how to execute short form videos, have a real plan, even if you have to go to the dollar store and get a notebook and get a pencil or pen, get some pens, a pack of pens, or pencils, or what have you, and write this stuff down, start bit by bit, piece by piece, write these things down. And once you write these things down, execute. So if it's something like, I want to start a YouTube channel, don't just start that channel, go and search and look for people that teach how to utilize a successful YouTube channel. How can you write a great blog? How can you start a podcast and get listenership and so on and so forth, write these things down, make sure it's not too much for you too much on your plate. But make sure you're writing these things down. You're planning it, and you have to execute it, execute the plan, be serious about it, execute the plan.

And the last reason your online marketing strategy isn't working is in terms of social media, you're not treating these platforms differently, you can't treat all these platforms the same. In other words, you can't post it's not good to post on Facebook 30 times a day, you probably shouldn't be posting on Facebook every single day. Maybe you can post every other day. Depending on your niche, maybe, maybe you need to post every day. But just make sure you're not posting all day long, per se. On that particular platform. You have to learn the social media platforms, all of them are different. TikToks different then YouTube Shorts. YouTube Shorts is different than Instagram reels, Instagram Reels is different than Snapchat, and so on and so forth. You have to treat each platform differently. It's so important because the users are not the same. Even though you have a person that that's on Tik Tok, you have a person that consuming content on YouTube shorts, even though they're the same person. The platforms are different, so they have different expectations of things.
